Base coats & adhesives
SPSenvirowall ‘s external wall insulation systems incorporate a number of types of renders to suit a variety of constructions or budgets. These systems can either be a one coat system or a system utilising a basecoat reinforcing mesh and a coloured top coat or brick render effect finish.
Below is a list of the different base coats and adhesives available:
EnviroBed
For the adhesive fixing of insulation boards.
- excellent adhesion properties
- BBA Approved
- High levels for water resistance
- Assists in reducing the tolerances in the substrate
EnviroRend
Highly Polymer modified base coat to be used with thin coat render systems and lightweight framed construction. It acts as strengthening layer for the system and provides a flat even surface for application of the top coat.
- BBA Approved
- Can be machine applied
- Suitable for silicone, acrylic and mineral top coats
RetroBase
RetroBase is a moderately modified base coat for aggregate and mineral finishes.
- Cost effective base coat
- Excellent for difficult substrates
BrickStick Adhesive
Highly Polymer adhesive that provides excellent adhesion properties for brick slip systems.
